Privacy policy
Last updated:
At RG Systems we treat your personal data with the same care we put into the systems we build for our clients. This policy explains what data we receive, why we use it and what rights you have, under Law 81 of 2019 on personal data protection of the Republic of Panama.
1. Who is responsible for your data
RG Systems, a software development company based in Panama, is responsible for the data you send us. You can reach us at ronald.gordon@rgsyst.com or on WhatsApp at +507 6422-9315.
2. What data we receive
When you use the contact form we ask for:
- Required: name, email, country and a message about what you need.
- Optional: company, phone and the situation of your operation you choose to mark.
The form does not store or send that data to any server of ours: when you press send, your email app opens with the message already written, and you decide whether to send it. We only receive what you send us by email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. Your browser also downloads the fonts from Google Fonts servers, which receive your IP address.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build visitor profiles.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your inquiry and understand your operation.
- To prepare and send you a proposal when you ask for one.
- To follow up on the business relationship if you decide to work with us.
We do not sell your data or use it to send you advertising you did not ask for.
4. Legal basis
We process your data with your consent, which you give by writing to us, and to take the pre-contractual steps you request, such as a proposal. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.
5. Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to operate, who process the data on our behalf:
- Google Workspace, where we receive and store email.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and LinkedIn, if you choose to contact us through those channels.
These providers may process data outside Panama, with their own security measures. We may also disclose data if a competent authority requires it by law.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as the conversation or business relationship lasts and, afterwards, only for the time our legal or accounting obligations require. After that we delete it.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time for:
- Access: to know what data of yours we hold.
- Rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Cancellation: to delete your data.
- Objection: to stop using it for a specific purpose.
- Portability: to receive your data in a commonly used format.
Write to ronald.gordon@rgsyst.com stating which right you want to exercise. We will reply within the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with Panama’s National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).
8. Cookies and browser storage
The site does not use its own analytics or advertising cookies. It stores only two preferences in your browser (local storage): the language and the light or dark theme you chose. They contain no personal data and you can delete them from your browser settings. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical cookies for the site’s security.
9. Security
The site always runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the information you send us is limited to the people who need it to assist you.
10. Minors
This site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes to this policy
If the way we handle your data changes, we will update this page and the last updated date.
